A proud Asheville, NC native, Sallie is the granddaughter of famous watercolorist Sallie Middleton and great niece of early American architect Douglas Ellington. Like her forbearers, Sallie exudes creativity in every way possible, overseeing all branding and advertising strategies. She has a knack for design, from marketing concepts and direct mail to interior planning and product development.
Sallie, a SAG actress, also brings with her the knowledge gained from her lifelong experience in television and film. In addition to the TV and corporate spots she's written and directed, and an internship-turned job offer with CNN, Sallie has been the lead in two independent films, starred in a 5-part miniseries on the DIY Network, and had a lead role in the cult classic The Boneyard. As icing on the cake, Sallie earned the respect of executive producers at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, CA while assisting in the production of five feature films, including A Walk To Remember.
Changing gears, Sallie honed her business skills as a top-performing sales rep for Heraeus-Kulzer—the world's second largest dental pharmaceutical manufacturer—where she created immediate and lasting growth in her territory. Three years later, with several managerial offers on the table, Sallie decided to forsake medical sales and focus on raising a family, helping in the community and working closer to home. She is now a mother of three and sits on the board of multiple nonprofit organizations. Sallie earned her college degrees in Business and the Behavioral Sciences, and Communications.
